The Township of Wellesley Fire Department introduced 12 new recruit firefighters in a Facebook post that have just completed an intense six month training program with recruit firefighters and training officers from the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich. “Special thanks to our dedicated trainers and officers that have put in hundreds of extra hours to get our recruits ready to be on the trucks,” said the Township of Wellesley. “The group is split between our three stations and have been issued their badges and pagers and are responding to calls.”
